5 Ways To Motivate Yourself When You're A Business Mom

How do you balance your life and be motivated despite the challenges? Here are 5 WAYS that can help you motivate yourself.

It can be hard to be motivated every single day, especially as a business mom. Business moms have multiple challenges and draw on their time. Just imagine how much energy it takes to be a business mom and be a mom at the same time. How do you balance your life and be motivated despite the challenges?

When you get run down and tired, it’s easy to want to give up. But giving up doesn’t accomplish anything, it just postpones what you need to do for another day. Here are 5 WAYS that can help you motivate yourself:

1. Know your WHY.

This can be a hard struggle for moms. They're often feeling guilty for doing something that they enjoy like working on their business. Ditch the guilt and know your why. What you're feeling guilty about right now, your kids won’t even remember when they're in their 30s and 40s.

2. Practice SELF-CARE.

Self-care is not selfish. Giving everything away to everyone else really doesn't do any good for anyone. When you practice self-care and you're living at that highest version of yourself, that's when you radiate out your best version to everyone around you. Isn't that what really helps and impacts the world when you're giving your best self?

3. Have a daily sense of ACCOMPLISHMENT.

What does that mean? By the end of the day, we have to say “Hey, I'm brilliant. Look what I accomplished.” You can simply do that by setting three daily goals. At the end of every day, set the three most important things that you want to get done for the next day.

4. Set BIG GOALS for yourself.

What's a big goal you're working towards? And I mean BIG, one that scares you and you probably don't even want to tell anyone because even you think its impossible. There's a bigger dream waiting out there for you as soon as you get to that next step.

5. Have a DAILY RITUAL.

Have something that you can fall back on those days when you're thinking ‘this is just too much’. Create a ritual that can change your state of being from feeling unmotivated to being motivated. Perhaps it's going for a walk or listening to a meditation tape, whatever it is get moving. When you feel that motivation slipping, have that Go-To ritual so that you can get motivated again.
