Wor·thi·ness /ˈwərT͟Hēnəs/ (noun) - the quality of being good enough; suitability:
Worthiness is a missing ingredient in a lot of women and something that you might not even realize until you are much older. So, how do you achieve worthiness? Here are 5 TRICKS you can do as a pro-business mom.
1. You have to understand WHAT WORTHINESS IS MADE UP.
Worthiness is made up of all your beliefs. Those beliefs drive our behavior, and they mostly come from the time we're born until we're about eight, scientists say. We're downloading all this information from our parents, our culture, even where we live geographically. We assume it's all true because we don't have the ability to decipher the information we're receiving and decide if it's good for us. So we take it into adulthood this backpack of beliefs that we never challenge and that's where we begin chasing worthiness.
2. A BELIEF is only a statement you've decided is TRUE.
Guess what? You can decide it's not true and you can delete that data. It's as simple as that.
3. CONFIDENCE is a PRACTICE so do not wait for it.
You can't wait for confidence. If you do, you're going to be waiting a very long time and you're never going to go after the things you want. Remember, confidence is a practice. Start with little things. Sit at the front of the room, put your hand up first when someone asks a question take the opportunity to step outside your comfort zone.
4. SELF-CARE is not selfish.
It makes you a better mother. It makes you a better wife, it makes you a better friend and it definitely makes you a better business person. It allows you to radiate out your best to those around you.
5. Worthiness is a LIFESTYLE.
It's a practice like fitness, nutrition, anything else that you want to do to improve your life. It's not a one-off, the practice of worthiness is a gift to yourself and others.
