Welcome to another video!
Selling is what sustains what you love! When you can’t make a sale, you also can’t continue doing your passion and interest. What can help you make sales easier? Consider these 5 COOL THINGS you can do:
1. Have a PROCESS.
What does it mean to have a sales process? It starts with knowing who your ideal client is and how you will find them. Once you get a lead, what do you do with them? Do you have a phone meeting, do you have an in-person meeting? At that step are you actually selling to them or do you need more than one meeting to sell?
2. Have a STRATEGY LINE.
A strategy line is as simple as a little arrow where you know this is where a customer starts and this is the next and the next step. The reason why you have this strategy line is that at every step you have a goal. This helps you document a process that you can follow and sales don't happen by chance.
3. Record your METRICS.
Make sure that you are recording your metrics. You set your metrics and then you record them so that you can decide what's working and what's not. If you're not measuring, you're not going to be able to tell if there is something in your process you should change because it's not working for you.
4. Use an AGENDA.
When you use an agenda it sets you apart from everyone else because I can promise you that only 15% of people will bring an agenda to a meeting. It shifts the way that the potential client will look at you.
5. Keep the METRICS.
When you track it, it helps you pinpoint where the holes are in your process. Are you getting the wrong leads and that's why people aren't moving to the next step? Are you not using an agenda or you're not asking for that sale and that's why you're not closing? You need to have metrics to determine where your holes are.
